FUSION DANCE
Our main focus is YOUR DANCER. No, really! It is!
We want every dancer to reach their personal potential, and have a good time getting there. We work hard to create challenging and effective class curriculum, strength training programs, and choreography based on our CURRENT student enrollment. Our year is broken up in four main sections: 1.) Dancer Assessment and foundation building; 2.) Choreography; 3.) Performance; and 4.) Cultivating Creativity Our classes are capped to keep student to teacher ratios low optimizing the most out of our classroom experience. Class descriptionsTeeny Toes (Ages 2 1/2 -3) A class designed for our little ones! These dancers are learning movement, coordination, and how to follow group activities. However, they need a different touch than a 4 to 5 year old class. Hence, we developed Teeny Toes! This class will have more energetic games and play, all while teaching all the important foundations of dance. A little less quiet time, and a little more fun! *Class capped at 8 students. Itty Bitty Ballerinas: (Ages 4-5) At this age, dance should be about learning to nurture creativity in movement. Developing coordination, combined with learning basic positions and terminology are the building blocks of our creative dance curriculum. Our classes will challenge the students both mentally and physically, yet still keep that sense of creativity for all forms of dance. They will build a foundation in ballet, jazz, tap, movement, rhythm, and body placement. *Class capped at 12 students. Tiny Ballerinas: (Ages 6-7) With all the basic foundations of our "Itty Bitty Ballerina" class, we will be taking these dancers to the next level. A restructured curriculum to include more ballet, jazz, tap, and technical training. *Class capped at 12 students. Acro Classes: (Multi-ages & Levels) A great combination of acrobatics and dance. Combinations are choreographed as interpretation of the music's lyrics, and students will learn how to use emotion through their dance movements. Musicality and performance skills are taught through a series of dance combinations. You will soon be addicted to the playful edge of this style. Ballet: The core basis for all forms of dance. Works on balance, correct placement, and developing a dancer’s center. Basic foot and arm positions will be mastered, along with a structured set of barre exercises, stretches, and center floor work which will include introductory turns and jumps.
